Rosie is an actor, singer, and filmmaker based in both New York and Los Angeles.
She started her career on the stage training in Musical Theatre at Circle in the Square Theatre School and Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London playing roles such as “Charity” in SWEET CHARITY and “Goneril” in KING LEAR. She was recently awarded Outstanding Performance for the leading role in her first indie feature A/WAY, which currently playing at Film Festivals across the country.
She is the daughter of actor Chris McDonald (Happy Gilmore, Thelma & Louise, Hacks) which is to say, she was born to perform and is absolutely over-the-moon thrilled to live her life as an actor.
She is endlessly curious and excited by storytelling as a way to explore the experience of living.
